Located just 15 metres from the sea in Hydra,Hotel Sophia is housed in a restored 19-century building and offers a shared lounge, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi access. The loveliest family run hotel. They will go out of their way to make you comfortable. For instance, we did not want to use the air conditioning. Why air-conditioning when the beautiful Hydra breeze is beyond perfect? No mosquitoes. So Nick brought us a fan which was just a perfect. Every little request was met with a smile. We had the room with a balcony looking out onto the port and could watch the daily activities. Just fantastic! And Mama’s homemade breakfasts!! Delicious! every day she cooked up something fresh and different. that’s why breakfast doesn’t begin until 830 because she is busy in the kitchen. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Located on a private beach in the area of Plakes Vlichos, Four Seasons Hydra Luxury Suites offers free Wi-Fi throughout. The location was lovely, quiet and remote. The property was picturesque and tidy. We loved the beach area with the sun-beds and umbrellas. The restaurant was really good; the included breakfast was wonderful! The staff were friendly and very helpful, transporting our bags and making reservations for us. The private, complimentary ferry was an amazing perk. I wish we could have booked one of the tours on the larger boat, but we just didn’t have time. Next time!

Orloff Boutique Hotel, one of the historic Hydra mansions of the 18th century, is lovingly restored to an elegant, luxurious 4 star boutique hotel. Special spirit. Aesthetic. Very friendly and kind staff. Beautiful, stylish, clean accommodation. Excellent breakfast in the inside garden with lemon trees. Silent place but very close to the port.

Lovely location and sweet hotel. The owners were very nice and extremely helpful. Great breakfast! The room was nice and clean. Easy walk to the port. I would stay again.

The staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to ensure guests feel welcome & comfortable. The service is top-notch, with attention to detail and a genuine commitment to making your stay unforgettable. The food is delicious & fresh fish is the order of the day. The breakfast menu is extensive & the salads at lunchtime were divine (try the cauliflower salad it’s to die for!). The beach is perfect for swimming, snorkelling & just watching the world go by. The array of boats that moor up in Mandraki Bay means there is great people watching to be had!! There is cute taverna next door for a local lunch or dinner if you don’t fancy hopping on the hotel water taxi into the port. The complimentary water taxi runs all day to & from Hydra port which is such a stunning trip & never got old even after a week at this gorgeous hotel. Shout out to the owner Arthur for being so present & knowledgeable about Hydra, always ready to offer advice on restaurants, walks etc when asked in a charming & understated way. Thank you for sharing your special piece of Greek heaven!

Set in Hydra, within 700 metres of Avlaki Beach and 2.1 km of Paralia Vlichos, Douskos Port House offers accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi throughout the property. Breakfast was very nice, and served on the Terrace with a lovely Setting. The Host was AMAZING. Great help with every little detail, Will definitely visit again!
